Shopping at Skyhop Flights: An Honest Buyer’s Guide
Range, real prices, shipping, returns and the codes that work: our complete guide to buying from Skyhop Flights.
Skyhop Flights is part of the travel booking ecosystem where prices change by the hour and the fine print decides whether a ‘deal’ is real. We have booked through Skyhop Flights several times and tracked its pricing against competitors.
Who Skyhop Flights is for
Founded in 2010 and based in Ireland, Skyhop Flights describes itself as “compare and book flights worldwide”. In practice its core customer is someone who wants travel insurance and flights from a single store with predictable service, and who is prepared to pay a little more than the cheapest marketplace listing for that predictability.
The range
The catalogue is built around travel insurance, flights and city passes. Hotel stays is a newer addition and the depth is thinner there. Across our test orders, the items that impressed us most were in the core categories – that is where the brand’s buying expertise shows.
Pricing: list price vs real price
List prices at Skyhop Flights sit in the middle of the travel market. The real price is lower for anyone paying attention: a first-order code of 10-20% is almost always available, free shipping kicks in at a modest threshold, and the sale calendar follows the pattern we describe in our seasonal buying guide. We list the currently verified codes on the Skyhop Flights brand page.
Shipping and delivery
Instant e-tickets. In our orders, dispatch happened within one to two working days and tracking was accurate. International delivery is available but duties are not always pre-paid – check at checkout.
Returns
Per airline policy. Our test return was refunded to the original payment method within a week of the carrier scan. Support queues during disruption – read the policy for the specific line you are buying.
Strengths
- Transparent total pricing.

How to save at Skyhop Flights
- Use a verified code. New-customer codes are the most generous; we test them every two weeks.
- Time the sale. Skyhop Flights discounts most heavily at mid-year; the 90-day price history shows it clearly.
- Clear the free-shipping threshold with something you already buy, not a filler item.
- Stack cashback and a card offer – Skyhop Flights orders have tracked reliably through the major portals in our tests.
Alternatives
If Skyhop Flights does not have what you need, Metrohop Transit Pass (city passes and attraction bundles) is the closest comparison in our coverage and is worth checking before you buy.
