Tested: Barberline – Quality, Delivery, Returns and Real Prices
Our 45-day test of Barberline: ordering, delivery, quality, a deliberate return and two support contacts, scored out of ten.
We spent 45 days ordering from Barberline – fragrance, cleansers and haircare, paid for with our own money – returned one item on purpose, and contacted customer service twice. This is what happened.
First impressions
The site is well organised, if a little heavy on pop-ups. Size and specification details were adequate, and the checkout accepted our verified code without drama. Free over £30, which we cleared on the first order.
Ordering and delivery
All orders dispatched within 24 hours. Packaging was recyclable and appropriately sized. Tracking updates were accurate to within a few hours.
Product quality
This is where Barberline earns its rating. Loyalty points that stack with codes stood out immediately; generous sample and set pricing became apparent over the weeks. The weakest item was the haircare, which was good but overpriced at list price.
The return
30 days. We returned one item using the standard process. The label was prepaid with a small deduction, the refund arrived in three working days, and nobody tried to talk us into store credit.
Customer service
Two contacts: one chat about a delivery query (answered in 3 minutes) and one email about a code that should have applied to a sale item (resolved with a manual price adjustment in 2 working days). Polite, competent, no scripts.
Value
At list price Barberline is competitive. With a code and in the sale window it is clearly worth it. Sets sometimes include fillers, and codes rarely apply to new launches – both manageable if you know in advance.

Verdict
Barberline does what it says: grooming essentials for men. Recommended, with the caveats above. Use a verified code – the current ones are on the Barberline brand page – and buy in the sale window if you can wait.
